The first option on the Wash Menu section allows you to create and set up new wash packages. Click on the “Create Package Template” button to get started.
Membership Package
Enter the name of your new membership package. On the “Package type” field, select Membership. For reporting purposes, also select Membership on the “Revenue Type” field.
The “Roles” menu allows you to make the packge visible only to certain level of employees. If you leave this option empty it will appear for everyone by default.
Other options
Always make sure that the “Enabled” option is checked here, otherwise the wash package will not appear on your Flexwash devices. For membership packages, we also recommend selecting the “Require License Plate” option to ensure that the cameras or RFID readers in your site recognize the vehicle as a member when they come to redeem washes.
Save the new wash package.
Membership Benefits
After a membership package is created, this option will appear on the bottom of the settings. Click on the “Create membership benefit” button.
A new window will appear where you can set up the membership benefit:
Enter a name for the benefit. To ensure that the members are able to redeem washes after they pay their monthly bill, select Recurring on the “Benefit Type” field, and on the “Benefit Wash Package” select the wash that will be fired on the tunnel when the members enrolled on this package come in.
The “Discount percentage”, in this case, is set to 100% so the members can redeem washes without being charged on each visit; they will pay a monthly fee to mantain the benefit active.
Save the changes.
Car Wash Packages
Below the Membership Benefits, you will find this new section on the bottom of the settings called “Car Wash Packages”. This gives you the ability to offer different prices and other settings per site or location.
Click on the “Create Car Wash Package” button.
Select Car Wash
A new window will appear. Select the correct Car Wash.
Create Wash Package
Fill in the name, price and taxes if required on your location.
Make sure that the “Enabled” option is checked here as well to ensure that the wash package appears on your Flexwash devices.
Display Order
Control the order in which Wash Packages appear on the POS using the Edit Order feature.
On the Packages page, packages are grouped by Package Type (for example, Express, Full Service, Membership). Reordering works independently within each Package Type group. The groups themselves always display in a fixed order.
To change the display order:
- Navigate to Wash Menu > Packages.
- Click Edit Order in the top-right corner of the Package Type group you want to reorder.
- Drag and drop rows using the handle that appears on the left of each row.
- Click Save Order to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
Place your most frequently sold packages at the top of each group so staff can find them quickly at checkout.
