SMS Marketing

Text marketing is a very popular and effective way to re-target customers in the car wash industry. There are important legal requirements to follow to ensure compliance and the penalties for not doing so are large. The safest way to engage customers is to have a 10-DLC registered campaign that collects double opt-ins. FlexEngage handles this by default.

Requirements

To enroll FlexWash will create a Twilio account and register a Brand and Campaign for your business. You must set up a Privacy Policy and a Opt-In Form on your website.

Privacy Policy

You must have a privacy policy at /privacy on your website that also has the terms & conditions for your marketing. An example of one is here: https://www.express-auto-spa.com/privacy
The example here is just an example. You must ensure you have a legally compliant and valid privacy policy.

Opt-In Form

Create a Promotion in FlexWash. It must be of Application Type: Single Use and Promotion Type: Marketing. The discount and site configuration is up to you. Make sure New Customer is checked for Qualifications as Twilio may submit the form when validating your website. PromoitonForm Pn From this Promotion copy and embed the iFrame to a landing page on your website. Below the embedded iFrame you will need to add the following language, with the last part Privacy Policy here being a hyperlink to the /privacy page:
