FlexEngage is a paid product that requires its own subscription on top of the
point of sale. Reach out to sales for more information.
How it Works
Use promotions and our promotion portals to embed forms that deliver unique QR codes with special offers. Doing so automatically associates contact information with a vehicle so you can use wash history to retarget customers.Configuring Messages
Every message in FlexEngage has three parts: filters that define who receives it, a delivery channel (SMS or email), and a send schedule. Learn how to build and configure individual messages in the Configuring Messages guide.Filters
Filters are the building blocks of targeted messaging. They let you segment customers based on behavior. Combine multiple filters with AND/OR logic for precise targeting. See the full Filters reference for every available filter and how to use it.Smart Messaging
Smart Messaging is activity-based, automated messaging. You select a trigger event, and whenever that event occurs for a customer, FlexEngage evaluates your filters and delivers the message if the customer qualifies. This is real-time engagement tied directly to customer actions. A customer completes a wash, signs up online, or has a payment fail, etc. and FlexEngage responds automatically.Supported Triggers
| Trigger | Description |
|---|---|
| Order Completed | A wash order is completed on site. The most common trigger for post-visit follow-ups and membership offers. |
| Online Signup | A customer signs up for a membership through your website. |
| Online Add Car | An existing member adds another vehicle to their membership online. |
| Online Cancel | A customer cancels a vehicle subscription online. |
| In Person Signup | A membership is created at the point of sale. |
| In Person Add Car | A vehicle subscription is added at the point of sale. |
| In Person Cancel | A vehicle subscription is cancelled at the point of sale. |
| Invalid Credit Card | A membership billing attempt fails due to an invalid card on file. |
| Payment Failed | A membership billing attempt fails for any reason. |
Scheduled Blasts
Scheduled Blasts are filter based campaigns that evaluate and message every customer who qualifies. There are two modes.One-Time Blast
A one-time blast runs once at a specific date and time. FlexEngage evaluates your filters at the scheduled time and sends the message to all qualifying customers. Use this for time-sensitive announcements, seasonal promotions, or limited offers.Recurring Blast
A recurring blast runs on a daily schedule. Each day, FlexEngage evaluates the filters and messages any customer who now meets the conditions. This is useful for ongoing campaigns that should continuously reach new customers based on past activity, such as targeting customers who have not washed, members approaching a signup anniversary, etc. Recurring blasts unlock additional time-sensitive filters that only make sense on a repeating schedule. See Configuring Messages for details.SMS Marketing
Text marketing is a very popular and effective way to re-target customers in the car wash industry. There are important legal requirements to follow to ensure compliance and the penalties for not doing so are large. The safest way to engage customers is to have a 10-DLC registered campaign that collects double opt-ins. FlexEngage handles this by default.10-DLC registration has specific compliance requirements that require some
updates to your website. See SMS Requirements
for more information.
