Claude Code is Anthropic’s AI assistant for the terminal. With the FlexWash MCP server, Claude Code can run your FlexWash reports and work with the results: combine reports, export them to CSV or Excel, or build a custom analysis across all your sites. If you prefer a chat app, use Claude on desktop or the web instead. It uses the same FlexWash data and needs no command line.

Requirements

  • A FlexWash admin account. Only admin users can connect. Claude Code sees the same car washes and data you can see in FlexWash.
  • Claude Code installed and signed in. See Anthropic’s setup guide.
The connector is read-only. Claude Code can run FlexWash reports, but it cannot change memberships, customers, prices, or any other data.

Connect FlexWash

1

Add the FlexWash server

Run this command in your terminal:
--scope user makes FlexWash available in every folder you open with Claude Code. Leave it out to add FlexWash to the current folder only.
2

Sign in with FlexWash

Start Claude Code with claude, then type /mcp. Select flexwash and choose Authenticate.Your browser opens the FlexWash sign-in page. Sign in with your FlexWash email and password, then allow Claude Code to access your FlexWash account.
3

Confirm the connection

Return to the terminal. /mcp shows flexwash as connected.
Sign-in uses port 53782 on your computer for a few seconds. If another program is using that port, sign-in fails. Close the other program and try again.

Ask a Question

Ask Claude Code about your car wash, for example:
  • “Export last month’s new memberships by site to a CSV.”
  • “Compare churn across all sites for the last six months and chart it.”
  • “Find the 10 customers with the most washes this quarter.”

Usage Limits

Each request can run several FlexWash reports. To protect performance, each user can run up to 30 reports per minute and 1,000 reports per day. If you reach a limit, Claude Code tells you how long to wait.

Disconnect

To sign out, type /mcp, select flexwash, and choose Clear authentication. To remove the server completely, run:
