Within the Wash Menu, the initial selection provides the capability to create and configure a new Washbook.

Click on the ‘Create Wash Package’ button.

To set up a Wash Book:

  1. You must select ‘Washbook’ from the ‘Package type’ dropdown menu. 
  2. Select a wash book template.
  3. Enter the wash applications (the amount of washes per wash book).
  4. You must always ensure the ‘Enabled’ option is checked. If it is unchecked, the Washbook will not be available on your FlexWash devices.
  5. Choose “Washbook” for the ‘Revenue Type’ dropdown menu so that the data is accurately reflected in the reports.
Toggles:
  • Auto Print Order Ticket: Print order ticket automatically.
  • Show in Lobby POS: Display in Lobby Point-of-Sale (POS).
  • Pay Inside: Payment inside.
  • Require License Plate: To redeem a Washbook, the customer’s license plate is required. This process enables the wash book to be saved to their account.
By default, the Washbook is visible to all employees. To restrict visibility to only certain employee levels, use the ‘Roles’ menu. Once all these criteria are completed hit ‘save.’
Wash Book Set Up
Once a Washbook is successfully created, a new “Car Wash Packages” section will appear at the bottom of the settings. This feature allows you to set unique prices and configurations for each specific site or location. A new window will appear. Select the correct Car Wash.
Select Carwash Option
Fill in the name, price and taxes if required on your location, ensure the “Enabled” option is checked, then save.
To make the wash book accessible, refresh the config on the payment tablet.
