AMP Connect Agent

One of three device-level apps (alongside “TSYS” and “Kiosk”) installed on a Swift unit; part of the app stack that is uninstalled/reinstalled as a troubleshooting step for persistent Swift credit-card errors. See also: Swift; AMP6500; TSYS. Unverified.

ARM (Automatic Recharge Module)

DRB’s SiteWatch/Patheon module that automatically charges a member’s credit card on a monthly basis to renew/recharge their unlimited wash plan, without staff intervention. Ask NXT

A conversational-AI feature, built on an “NXT Wash MCP Server,” that lets operators query their NXT Wash data in plain English via supported AI assistants instead of navigating dashboards or exporting spreadsheets: revenue, wash counts, average ticket, membership performance, labor KPIs, payment declines, and gift card or washbook sales, for example. Autobilling

ICS WashConnect’s automated recurring billing feature for membership/wash-club customers, referenced as a specific troubleshooting topic in ICS’s help center. Also known as: ARM (DRB); recurring billing (Washify, Micrologic). See also: WashConnect; Unlimited Wash Club; ARM; Involuntary Churn.

Automatic Credit Card Updater

Washify service that automatically refreshes stored customer credit card numbers/expiration dates (via card-network update services) to reduce membership billing declines. Also known as: Decline Minimizer (Micrologic - same function); card-decline recovery (Quivio CRM); Failed Payment Recovery (Retention Express - outsourced equivalent). Back Office

The management/reporting web console within Sonny’s CarWash Controls. Modules include Dashboard, Search, Reports, Marketing, Recurring/Prepaids, Product, Visitors, Employees, Reconciliation, Maintenance, Configuration, and Sites (multi-location management). Beacon Mobile

White-label mobile-app-builder platform for car washes, offering branded consumer apps with voice activation and POS integration, sold in variants for tunnel (conveyor) washes and in-bay automatic (IBA) washes and distributed/marketed through DRB. Also announced a payments partnership with Nayax (unattended-retail payment processor). Internal training material describes the underlying hardware as three distinct install-guide product lines rather than one generic app/POS integration: an IBA Module for single-lane in-bay/tunnel activation; a Timer Activation Master Controller Module that fires standard 24VAC self-serve timers (for example, Dixmor LED6/LED7) in count-up or count-down mode via a dry-contact relay closure; and a Unitec Code Generator Module that bridges, via a MOXA NPort serial-to-Ethernet device, into a site’s Unitec Sierra Server, registering itself in Sierra as an External POS device authorized to request wash codes, the same interface pattern Sierra uses for fuel-pump wash-code requests. Third-party remote-support tool used to reach Patheon terminals/appliances during install and support (“Bomgar Client Installer”, “Breakout mode” to switch into a live session, verifying BeyondTrust can activate during a reimage). Washify’s newer material refers to the same underlying remote-access vendor by its current name, BeyondTrust. Also known as: Bomgar (legacy name); BeyondTrust (current name). CAGE (Credit Authorization Gateway Engine)

ICS’s payment-processing API/gateway layer supporting EMV/PCI-compliant card authorization across its terminals. See also: WashCloud; WashConnect. Unverified.

Car Wash Attendant

An Android app by Beacon Mobile, the staff/attendant-facing counterpart to its consumer wash apps. See also: Beacon Mobile; EverWash; Salespath. Unverified.

Card Manager (Patheon)

A DRB Patheon Site Core service responsible for wash-plan signup (token auth, scheduling) and EMV/card payment processing; runs partly on-site and partly cloud-side, talking to the POS API, Peripheral Router Service, Postgres DB, and the cloud Site Manager API. CarPics (CarPics Vehicle Manager)

DRB vehicle-queuing add-on for SiteWatch/TunnelWatch that photographs each vehicle at the point of sale and displays live photos (rather than generic icons) with service “badges” at the loading terminal, helping staff sequence cars, prep the right services, catch upsell opportunities, and spot fraud. Generic concept: virtual queue / vehicle queuing. Also known as: Touch Queuing (DRB’s Patheon-side counterpart); LogicWash Visual Queue (Micrologic equivalent); OTT / tunnel screen (generic loader-side display). CarrierDiags

A self-test diagnostic application run on Unitec/Sentinel units (found in the “NMD50 Test and Carrier Diag” folder on the kiosk’s C: drive) to check which internal boards/peripherals are offline or failing to communicate - typically run when the Washify software fails to load or a “Portal 3” error appears. CarWatch

Referenced in a legacy TunnelWatch/RRS system manual (circa 2000) alongside the “TunnelWatch Computer” as separate on-site equipment (“Location of Equipment … TunnelWatch Computer / CarWatch Computer”). Catalyst

Clarity (Clarity POS System / AMP Clarity)

AMP’s point-of-sale platform, described as AI/machine-learning powered, providing real-time data insights, fraud reduction, and in-lane sales tools; the core POS product AMP sells alongside its membership app and hardware. CleanTrak

Client Manager

DRB’s back-end admin tool for Patheon, run in two separate instances: a drbsystems.com copy used as UAT (internal-only test environment) and a drb.com copy used as PROD (all customers). Settings changed at the “Main Client” level cascade to every location under that customer; includes toggles for platform maintenance mode (turns an org off), feature flags, ecommerce, customer tracking, and license plate recognition. CMS Portal

AMP’s content-management/reporting dashboard for business operations - the back-office analytics and content portal paired with the Clarity POS and consumer app. Named once in AMP materials with no detail on scope. See also: Clarity; AMP Memberships. Unverified.

Coinless

A mobile-payment app that let car wash customers pay cashlessly at self-serve and in-bay-automatic locations. It operated independently, then was acquired by EverWash in May 2024 and folded into EverWash’s in-house hardware and payment stack. The term is distinct from the generic adjective “coinless” (see separate entry). Also known as: Coinless Mobile (the app’s storefront name). Cortex

CruzControl

Motor City Wash Works’ cloud-based “enterprise hub” platform unifying a site’s POS/auto-cashier connection points, ETL-certified electrical control panels, predictive/preventative maintenance software, equipment/environmental monitoring, and remote access/configuration into five named modules: Site Unite, Site Drive, Site Track, Site Scan, and Site Command. Sold with a turnkey managed data-rack (networking hardware, managed IP phones, redundant 5G/LTE + ISP internet) and a locally-hosted “Wash API” that lets POS/auto-cashier partners integrate with MCWW’s controller and equipment. Customer Loyalty App

Washify’s branded customer-facing mobile app, also referenced internally as the “loyalty app” or “Company Unlimited” app, that lets wash members manage their account, view plan and membership status, and access loyalty and rewards features, including redeeming virtual washbooks by connecting to a kiosk (“Connect with the App”). Also known as: Customer Portal - WashAssist (Micrologic); WashNow! App (ICS); Beacon Mobile / Mobile Connect (DRB); “Customer mobile app,” “Company Unlimited” (screen/branding referenced in Loader button setup). CWA (CarWash Admin)

Washify’s CarWash Admin portal, the web dashboard where owners and operators log in (at carwashlogin.com) to manage the customer database, pricing and services, promotions and discounts, washbooks and gift cards, fleet accounts, kiosk and controller settings, and reporting across one or more locations. A CWA Super Admin tier exists for internal DRB/Washify staff. Washify’s public documentation uses the bare acronym; CarWash Admin is the expansion used in the field. Decline Minimizer

Micrologic software component that periodically checks card networks for updated customer credit card numbers/expiration dates to reduce failed recurring-billing transactions for wash-club members; integrated into both LogicVision and CleanCarPass. Also known as: Automatic Credit Card Updater (Washify); card-decline recovery (Quivio CRM); Failed Payment Recovery (Retention Express). Director (Director X)

DRB’s enterprise-level online reporting and management platform for Sierra/X-Start-powered IBA sites, letting multi-location operators share loyalty programs and view consolidated reporting across sites. “Director X” is the cloud platform bundled with the newer X-Start kiosk. An account-updater add-on service (built with TSYS) that automatically refreshes stored card data (account number, expiration date, account status) for tokenized cards on file, reducing declined recurring (“Unlimited”) membership billing caused by reissued/expired cards. Kiosk Report

A Washify CWA report summarizing a kiosk’s daily cash activity - starting/ending cash amount, cashbox-emptied totals, bills added, sales, bill-denomination breakdown, and rejected-bill counts - exportable to PDF/Excel for cash reconciliation. See also: CWA; Cashbox; X-Station.

LogicLube

Micrologic’s quick-lube shop management software; can run standalone or integrate with LogicWash. Tracks customers by license plate/VIN/registration barcode, sends service-due reminders, recommends oil/filters with engine diagrams, and generates “Pending Work Orders.” Comparable products include Quick Lube Pro (DRB) and QuickTouch/NexGen (Sage Microsystems). Micrologic’s queue-management add-on that displays vehicle images and purchased-wash details (fed from the Pegasus Payment Kiosk) on a large stainless-steel NEMA monitor, so staff can verify service and customers can see wait status; also shows “Last Seen” data for monthly club members to deter tag/plate-sharing fraud. Lottery Wash

NMD Testing Tool

NXT Wash

Cloud-based, AI-powered point-of-sale and operations platform for car washes, built around license-plate/vehicle recognition for identifying returning customers, “bring your own device” hardware, and a real-time analytics dashboard (revenue, labor, cars-per-labor-hour, dollar-per-car). Octopus Deploy / Tentacle

The continuous-deployment platform (third-party, Octopus Deploy) DRB uses to push Patheon software releases to appliances and terminals; the local client agent on each machine is called “Tentacle,” installed by running its registration/batch file. A Tentacle must show as “Polling” (not “Listening”) in its manager before a deployment target will accept a push; deployments are organized by Tenant (a site/org), Environment (e.g., Prod), and package “Channel.”. OptSpot

Owner’s Mobile App

Washify’s mobile app for wash owners and managers, distinct from the customer-facing Loyalty App, used to view sales, reporting, and site performance remotely from a phone, and to send free washbooks to customers by email or text, among other things. Also known as: WashConnect Mobile App (ICS); WashAssist Dashboard (Micrologic); StatWatch (DRB); Director (DRB IBA); “Owner’s app”. Patheon

DRB’s newer browser-based, hybrid-cloud tunnel POS platform, positioned as the successor and upgrade path from SiteWatch. Marketed as the “central nervous system” connecting pay stations, membership and loyalty programs, vehicle ID, and tunnel controllers, with modules including Patheon Portal for configuration and reporting, Patheon POS, and Patheon Tablet. Comparable products include WashCentral (Micrologic), WashConnect (ICS), Quivio (Sonny’s), and Clarity (AMP). Internally, DRB calls Patheon’s on-premise design “Site Core”: a headless appliance (APL) plus attended/kiosk terminals plus peripherals, all running the same service model. Core Site Core services include the Peripheral Router Service, a hub for all peripheral I/O; Card Manager for EMV and plan sign-up; Identity Server for authentication; a Postgres database; an Nginx-based local web server for the thin-client POS UI; Site Listener Manager and Site Sync Manager for cloud-to-site and site-to-cloud synchronization; Tunnel Capture, which feeds TunnelWatch data into reporting; and a Template Receipt Service. On the cloud side, DRB uses Octopus Deploy, with a “Tentacle” agent on every machine, for release management; a Client Manager tool (drbsystems.com for UAT, drb.com for production) for org and site configuration; and Salesforce and AppInsights for support and monitoring. Deputy handles employee time and attendance, and Avalara (“Avatax”) calculates tax rates. Terminals log in as a distinct application per role: a kiosk logs in as a Windows “PfKiosk” user, and the local management UI is called “PfManage.”. Pending Work Order

Micrologic Associates’ LogicLube term for a system-generated flag/ticket indicating a customer’s vehicle is due or overdue for a service, used to prompt upsell/follow-up and increase throughput of return customers. See also: LogicLube.

Peripheral Router Service

The central DRB Patheon Site Core service that all site peripherals (cameras, LPR, gates, RFID readers, printers, bill acceptors/dispensers, card readers) communicate and route through, and that the POS API and Card Manager both depend on. Internally modeled as Peripheral / PeripheralCapability rows in a “PeripheralRouter” database schema, queryable by an “EndpointQualifier” per terminal (e.g., a kiosk’s identifier). PLU (Price Look-Up)

Generic retail/POS term for a code identifying an item or service’s price/configuration in a POS system; used in ICS WashConnect documentation (“modifying pricing and PLU data”) in the context of adjusting wash package pricing remotely. See also: WashConnect; Menu Tier Naming Convention.

Prize Promo

A slot-machine-style promotional feature offered after a customer pays, letting them “play” for a chance at a discount or free-wash voucher on their next visit - used as a retention/gamification tactic, especially for self-serve and IBA sites. ProfitPilot

Sonny’s point-of-sale system name, referenced alongside the WashPilot controller as the POS half of the pairing offered in Sonny’s legacy-relay-panel retrofit kit (“…interface it with a new WashPilot controller and ProfitPilot POS system”). Not the name used on Sonny’s current flagship POS product page (which is titled “Sonny’s CarWash Point-of-Sale Management System” / mPOS), so ProfitPilot may be an older or parallel POS product name still in use for retrofit contexts. SiteWatch add-on/interface extending POS functionality to quick-lube service lines at a car wash site, likely tied to DRB’s Sage Microsystems acquisition (quick-lube POS). Sonny’s Enterprises’ integrated software-and-hardware business-management platform for car wash operators, launched November 2025, combining membership CRM, a branded consumer app, and business analytics (via the WashMetrix acquisition) to manage churn, revenue, and operations across single or multi-site operators. Quivio ACE

The business-analytics module of Sonny’s Quivio platform, providing P&L visibility and cross-location KPI benchmarking; built from the WashMetrix acquisition and unifying POS/HRIS/accounting data. Also known as: Successor to WashMetrix. See also: Quivio; WashMetrix.

Replication

ICS term for the data-synchronization process between a wash site’s local WashConnect database and a corporate/central database across multiple sites; referenced in ICS’s help center as “Replication Troubleshooting.”. Salespath

Rinsed’s in-driveway sales-enablement product: tablets for lane salespeople with real-time conversion stats, gamified salesperson rewards, audio capture of sales pitches for coaching, AI sales coaching, and automated commission tracking. Integrates directly with a wash’s POS (e.g., NXT Wash) so one tablet runs both the sales pitch and the POS transaction. Sierra

Unitec/DRB’s POS software for in-bay automatic and convenience-store car washes; the software layer that powers Unitec’s C-Start and Portal TI+ pay stations. Features include real-time equipment and revenue dashboards, promotional tools such as Spin-to-Win, coupons, and fundraisers, fleet and subscription loyalty support, and failure alerts by email or text. Its reporting counterpart is Director. Sierra Server exposes a “POS Interface” activation code and screen through which a third-party device, such as Beacon Mobile’s Code Generator Module or a fuel pump, registers as an “External POS” able to request wash codes, with a “Feature Map” screen controlling which wash packages are exposed for code generation and configurable serial parameters such as baud rate. Site Core

DRB’s name for Patheon’s on-premise point-of-sale operating environment - the appliance (headless server), attended/unattended terminals, peripherals, and site network, all running the “same service architecture and delivery model” regardless of site size.
